What is Alarmify? ▾

Alarmify is a smart alarm clock for Android and iPhone, designed to get heavy sleepers out of bed. Instead of a simple “dismiss” button, the alarm requires you to complete a wake-up mission — such as solving math problems, completing a memory game, or typing an affirmation — before the sound stops.

Is Alarmify free to use? ▾

Yes! The core features — unlimited alarms, wake-up missions (Math, Memory Match, Typing), and all 28+ ringtones — are completely free.

Alarmify Pro is an optional upgrade that lets you put up to 5 missions on a single alarm, mix different mission types in one alarm, and look back over 30 and 90 days of mornings in Insights. On Android it also removes ads; the iPhone version has no ads to remove. Monthly, yearly and lifetime prices are shown in the app before you buy.

Is Alarmify available on iPhone (iOS)? ▾

Yes. Alarmify is available on iPhone as well as Android. It needs iOS 15 or later.

On iOS 26 and later the alarm is handed to the system, so it rings through the silent switch and any Focus, and keeps ringing even if the app is closed. On earlier iOS versions the alarm can only ring while Alarmify is still running in the background, so avoid swiping it away before bed.

Which Android version is required? ▾

Alarmify requires Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher. For the best experience, we recommend Android 8.0 or above.

How do I create an alarm? ▾

Tap the + button on the home screen, set your desired time, choose repeat days (or leave it as a one-time alarm), and pick a wake-up mission. Tap Save — you’re set.

Can I set recurring alarms for specific days? ▾

Yes. When creating or editing an alarm, tap the day buttons (Mon–Sun) to select which days the alarm repeats. You can choose any combination — weekdays only, weekends, or specific days.

What is Quick Alarm? ▾

Quick Alarm lets you set an instant countdown timer with one tap — choose from 1, 10, 15, 20, 30, or 60 minutes. It’s perfect for naps, cooking, or short breaks without manually entering a time.

How do I snooze or disable snooze? ▾

Snooze is off until you tap Add Snooze while setting up the alarm. Pick 5, 10 or 15 minutes for the first snooze; each one after that is half as long (for example 10, 5, then 3 minutes). Under Snoozes per alarm choose 1, 2, 3 (the default), 5 or No limit. Once they are used up the Snooze button disappears, and only the mission stops the alarm.

Will my alarms still ring after I restart my phone? ▾

Yes. Alarmify automatically restores all your scheduled alarms after a phone reboot, so you never miss one.

What are wake-up missions? ▾

Wake-up missions are challenges you must complete before the alarm stops ringing. They force your brain to engage — so by the time you’re done, you’re genuinely awake.

  • Math Problems — solve arithmetic equations (Easy / Medium / Hard)
  • Memory Match — memorize and repeat a pattern or sequence
  • Typing Mission — type a motivational quote or your own custom affirmation
  • Math Pro — advanced typed-answer math
  • Shake — shake the phone until the counter fills
  • Walk — walk with your phone until the counter reaches zero
Which missions are free? ▾

All of them are free: Math Problems, Memory Match, Typing, Shake, Walk and Math Pro. Alarmify Pro lets you combine up to 5 of them on one alarm.

How do I set the difficulty for Math Problems? ▾

When configuring an alarm’s mission, select Math Problems and adjust the difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard) and the number of problems to solve. Harder difficulties use larger numbers and mixed operations.

Will Alarmify change my mission’s difficulty? ▾

Never on its own. When a repeating alarm’s only mission has got easy (on each of its last 7 mornings, solved without running out of time or starting over, with no snoozes, and usually in under 20 seconds for three problems or matches, with more time for more), the screen after you get up may suggest the next level. That is for Math, Math Pro and Memory. If you snoozed at least twice on each of the last 3 mornings, it may suggest Wake-up Check or a Walk mission instead. One tap makes the change, and you can undo it; Not now leaves the alarm as it is. At most one suggestion a week, and never the same one twice for an alarm.

Can I type my own affirmation for the Typing Mission? ▾

Yes! You can enter your personal goals, mantras, or morning intentions. Alarmify shows you that sentence every morning when the alarm fires. Custom sentences are stored locally on your device only.

Can I skip the mission? ▾

No — that’s the point! The alarm will keep ringing until the mission is completed. This is what makes Alarmify effective for heavy sleepers who habitually hit snooze.

What is Wake-up Check? ▾

A free check that you really got up. Turn it on for an alarm (3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes). That long after you finish the alarm, Alarmify asks “Still up?”. Tap the notification within 90 seconds, or open the app, and you are done. If nobody answers, the alarm rings again, mission and all, and it cannot be snoozed.

How many alarm sounds does Alarmify have? ▾

Alarmify includes 28+ hand-curated sounds across 6 mood categories: Bright, Calm, Energetic, Noisy, Fun, and Classic. You can preview any sound before saving your alarm.

What is volume fade-in? ▾

When fade-in is enabled, the alarm starts at a low volume and gradually increases to full volume — a gentler wake-up instead of a sudden loud sound.

Does Alarmify support vibration? ▾

Yes. You can enable vibration for each alarm and choose from multiple vibration pattern presets. They are all free.

How does the wake streak work? ▾

Every morning an alarm rings and you get up (you solve its mission, or tap Quit on an alarm without one) adds a day. Days without an alarm are skipped, not broken. Every 7 good mornings in a row earn a freeze, up to 2 at a time, and a missed morning uses a freeze instead of ending the streak.

What does the Insights tab show? ▾

Your streak, the last 7 days (when you got up and how often you snoozed), how long each mission usually takes you, and your fastest morning. With Alarmify Pro you can look back over 30 and 90 days. On Sundays the evening reminder also sums up your week. It all stays on your phone.

Can I share my streak? ▾

Yes. On the morning your streak reaches 3, 7, 14, 30 or 100 good mornings, the screen after your alarm has Share your streak, and Insights has it whenever your streak is 3 or more. You see the card first. It shows only the length of your streak and the Alarmify name: no times, alarm names or sentences. The card goes only to the app you choose; it is never sent to us. On Android 8 and later, a locked phone asks you to unlock first; on older versions, unlock it and share from Insights.

What do I get with Alarmify Pro? ▾

Alarmify Pro lets you put up to 5 missions on one alarm, and mix different mission types in the same alarm, so one alarm can ask for maths, then a memory game, then typing.

Pro also shows your mornings over 30 and 90 days in the Insights tab. The streak and the last 7 days are free.

On Android, Pro also removes every advertisement. The iPhone version shows no advertisements to anyone, so there is nothing to remove there.

Every mission type itself is free on both platforms.

How much does Alarmify Pro cost? ▾

There are three plans: monthly, yearly, and a one-time lifetime purchase. The price of each is shown on the Pro screen in the app, because it differs by country and by store. The yearly card shows what it works out to per month, and how much it saves against paying monthly.

Where a free trial is offered, the app says how long it lasts and what the plan costs when it ends, before you buy.

How do I cancel my subscription? ▾

On Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and cancel Alarmify there.

On iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Alarmify and cancel.

You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. A lifetime purchase never needs cancelling.

I reinstalled the app — how do I restore my Pro purchase? ▾

Open the app, go to the Pro screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same account you bought with: your Google account on Android, or your Apple Account on iPhone.

Can I use Alarmify Pro on multiple devices? ▾

Yes. Your purchase belongs to the store account you bought it with, so you can restore it on any device signed in to that account: any Android device for a Google Play purchase, any iPhone or iPad for an App Store purchase. A purchase made on one store does not carry over to the other.

Does Alarmify collect my personal data? ▾

Alarm data, custom sentences and your wake history are stored locally on your device and never uploaded to any server; a streak card goes only where you share it. Anonymous usage analytics are collected via Firebase; ads are served via Google AdMob. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete all my data? ▾

Uninstalling Alarmify removes all locally stored alarm data and settings. To opt out of personalized ads, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads on your device and disable ad personalization.

My alarm didn’t ring. What should I check? ▾

On Android, try these steps in order:

  • Battery optimization: Go to Settings → Battery → Battery optimization, find Alarmify, and set it to Not optimized.
  • Exact alarm permission: Go to Settings → Apps → Alarmify → Permissions and grant all required permissions.
  • Do Not Disturb: Check that your DND settings allow alarms to sound.
  • Volume: Ensure the alarm volume on your phone is not set to zero.
  • Alarm switch: Confirm the alarm is toggled on in the app’s alarm list.

On iPhone, check these instead:

  • Alarm permission: open Settings → Alarmify and make sure scheduling alarms is allowed. Alarmify asks for this the first time you save an alarm.
  • Alarm volume: open Settings → Sounds & Haptics and raise Ringtone and Alert Volume. The alarm ignores the silent switch and any Focus, but not a volume of zero.
  • Alarm switch: confirm the alarm is still on in the app’s list.
The alarm rings but the lock screen doesn’t appear. ▾

On Android, Alarmify needs the Display over other apps permission to show the alarm screen on top of your lock screen. Go to Settings → Apps → Alarmify → Display over other apps and enable it.

On iPhone, iOS shows its own alarm alert instead, and no app may cover the Lock Screen. Tap the alert, or its Solve mission button, and Alarmify opens on the mission.

On iPhone, the alarm went quiet when I pressed a volume or side button. ▾

On iPhone those buttons always stop a ringing system alarm, and no app is allowed to prevent it. Alarmify brings the alarm back: about ten seconds later on the Lock Screen, and immediately while Alarmify is open, where the app plays the alarm itself and holds the volume steady.

If it goes quiet while you are in another app, open Alarmify and it rings again, until the mission is solved.

On iPhone, can I stop the alarm without solving the mission? ▾

Not for an alarm that has a mission. Stopping it buys about ten seconds, then it rings again, and leaving the mission or letting it time out starts it again too. That continues for up to an hour after the alarm time. Alarms with no mission, and Quick Alarms, stop with Quit.

How do I grant Alarmify all required permissions? ▾

Alarmify may need these permissions to function correctly:

  • Schedule exact alarms — fires alarms at precise times
  • Display over other apps — shows alarm screen on the lock screen
  • Receive boot completed — restores alarms after phone restart
  • Vibrate — enables alarm vibration
  • Wake lock — keeps the alarm active while the screen is off

Grant them via Settings → Apps → Alarmify → Permissions.

The app crashes or has display issues. What do I do? ▾
  • Force-close and reopen the app
  • Clear the app cache: Settings → Apps → Alarmify → Storage → Clear Cache
  • Update to the latest version of Alarmify from Google Play
  • Restart your phone
